USS HOLT (DE-706) On September 19, 1945, B.B. Anderson relieved Victor Blue as Commanding Officer of the USS HOLT. This took place while the ship was at anchor in Manilla Bay, Luzon, Phillipine Islands. This may have been the first Dress White Inspection since the ship's arrival in the Far East.
